I've been having trouble creating a boot disk to perform the flash. What can I do?

Go to this page and select "Boot Disk" to create a bootable floppy that
you can combine with the flash files and perform the flash correctly.

Alternately:
Go to http://www.bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm and dowmload a windows 98se
oem disk image. run the executable file to create the boot disk. Then
from the disk delete all files, including hidden files, EXCEPT
command.com, io.sys, and msdos.sys this will create a "CLEAN" Win 98 boot disk.
